The general sejm in Warsaw. 1637.

The sejm was convened by the king Władysław IV, probably on 8 August 1636. The pre-sejm sejmiks were held in December 1636. Sejm proceedings lasted from 20 January to 4 March 1637. The elected marshal was Kazimierz Leon Sapieha, the Great Lithuanian Scriptor. The deputies debated mostly over “exorbitances” (postulates how to change improper solutions). Therefore, no matters from the king’s proposal list were addressed. Because there was no prolongation, the sejm was finished without any resolutions.
