During the Prussian War. Extraordinary Sejm in Warsaw. 1628.

The Sejm was convened in connection with the war that was taking place in Prussia with the Swedes. The pre-sejm Sejmiks (regional assemblies) were held in June and the session of the Sejm began on 27 June 1628, when Jakub Sobieski was elected Speaker of the Sejm. War issues dominated the proceedings, but the cases of the Radom Tribunal were also dealt with. Due to the needs of the war, the conscript universal was adopted. The Sejm concluded its deliberations on 18 July 1628.
